a fun game: baby name sibsets

Sibset-Game-Graphic

hi all!

for my inaugural post on our new blog, i thought i’d have some fun with baby names. i love, love, LOVE talking about and thinking of baby names – it’s one of my most favorite pastimes, and one of my personality quirks that most annoys Jord!

Elizabeth over at You Can’t Call It It, one of my favorite baby-naming blogs, always runs a fun game whenever the Social Security Administration releases the top 1000 baby names every year, and I thought I’d play along! Instead of just sharing my baby names in the comments over on YCCII, I thought I’d share them with you all, too.

Here are the rules of the game, as taken from You Can’t Call It It:

THE RULES:

1. pick five names {from each set of 100 names, meaning you’ll end up with ten lists} you might choose for your own children.

2. two boys, two girls, one of your choice.

3. bonus points for adding middles — from or off the list!

you can see the full list of the SSA’s Top 1000 baby names here, but for now, here’s my lists:

About Sara

Sara works in higher education, but she's most proud of her role as a Mama to two precocious boys, Lionel Conner, age 4, and Quincy August, age 2. In honor of turning 30 in 2016, she pierced her nose to "keep her young." She loves watching guilty-pleasure television, writing about motherhood, decorating her first home, sipping red wine with her husband Jordan, and chasing after her sons.
